How To Apply Hair Extensions

There are three main types of hair extensions which are well known to people. They are named clip-on hair extensions, glue-in hair extensions and hair fusion extension. Below are some of the more common methods of applying hair extensions.

Clip-on hair extensions
To apply clip-on hair extensions, you first use a comb to separate the hair which is above the top of one ear to the other. Now you can clip in the extensions across the full width of the back of your head. Release the hair from above and draw a new line about an inch above the last. Repeat that process, and by doing so, adding the extensions in so that they are not visible from beneath the natural hair.

Glue-in hair extensions
Separate your hair like the previous method. The width of your head from ear to ear should be a little longer than the length of the weft. Be careful to apply the glue to the length of the weft and wait until it goes tacky. Now you can attach the hair onto your own hair.

Hair fusion extensions
Divide the hair with the other two approaches. Attach the extension near to the root of the strands and use the heating tool to fuse them together.
