How to Use Lace Wig Adhesive

For most women, wigs are used as a worry-free hairdo for they do not need any additional styling. An application process for lace wigs with glue adhesive will help secure them in place.

1.      Put the wig cap on top of your wrapped hair. Try to choose the skin toned cap. Your hair should be tied in place with the wig cap to prevent the wig from shifting around.

2.      Put the wig on your head and use clips to hold the hair away from your face. Carefully adjust the direction to make it in the right place. Take an eye pencil to mark the area around your face where you would like the wig to begin.

3.      Take the wig off your head. Use a swab to apply the glue around the hairline carefully. Make sure it's applied along the lines made by the pencil.

4.      Directly put lace wig on hair glue and press firmly. Make sure the lace wig has been placed correctly on your head. Wrap the hair strips around the wig to hold it in place until glue dries.

5.      Remove stripes when glue has dried. Comb your lace wig in your desired hairdo.

Lace wigs are probably the best way to have the appearance of long curly or short bob hair without damaging your own hair. Although the application process usually requires adhesive products, there are some lace wigs that you can apply without glue.

Some lace wigs come with combs on the inside. These combs are closest to your temples. Try to choose a lace wig with comb grips from local beauty shops or purchase online.

Wash your hands and use alcohol or witch hazel to clean your forehead. Do not take the lace wig out of the package before you removed dirt and oils on your forehead. Cut the needless lace from the wig. And then place the wig on your head so that the inside combs can grip your natural hair and the tip of wig is laying on top of your natural hairline.

Although most wigs come styled, you can alter them by cutting or styling yourself. Choose human hair lace wig if you want to curl or straighten your wig.
